Privacy Policy

We collect three broad kinds of information:

• Account information. Details you give us when you create or manage an account, such as an email address, display name, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+), and profile details you choose to add.
• Usage information. Information about how you use the service, such as when you sign in, matching activity, features used, reports you file or that are filed about you, and moderation history.
• Device and technical information. Information your device provides, which may include IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, language settings, and approximate (country/region-level) location derived from your IP address.

Your camera and microphone streams are transmitted to connect you with your match. KissyCam does not record your video calls as content — your conversations are not saved as videos for us to watch, publish, or sell.

Two honest caveats:

• Like most live-video services, our systems may process stream data in transit (and may use automated tools on it) for the technical operation of the service and for safety purposes, such as detecting content involving minors or other serious violations. Material connected to a report or suspected serious violation may be preserved for moderation and, where required, for law enforcement.
• We cannot control the person on the other end of your call. Their device can capture what you show on camera regardless of anything we do. Please read our safety guide on this point — it matters more than any policy text.

We may use the information described above to:

• Provide and operate the service, including matching you with other users
• Keep the service safe: enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms, review reports, prevent fraud, and detect accounts of people under 18
• Maintain and improve the service, diagnose problems, and understand how features are used
• Communicate with you about your account, safety issues, or changes to our policies
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

• Service providers that help us run the service (such as hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers), who may process data on our behalf under contractual limits
• Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, or when we believe in good faith it is necessary to respond to legal process, protect someone’s safety (especially a minor’s), or investigate fraud or abuse
• Business transfers — if the service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy

Other users see only what you choose to show them: your display name, profile details, and whatever appears on your camera.

We use cookies and browser storage for things like keeping you signed in, remembering preferences (including your 18+ confirmation), and — where configured — analytics. Full details, including how to manage or clear them, are in our Cookie Policy.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here: generally, for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. Some records — such as those tied to safety reports, bans, or legal obligations — may be retained longer where the law requires or permits it. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, which can include the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information (with limited exceptions, such as records we must keep by law)
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us as described below (see also Contact). We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe your local law requires. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

KissyCam is strictly for adults. People under 18 may not use the service, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we terminate it and delete the associated personal information, except where we must preserve records for safety or legal reasons. If you believe a minor is using the service, report it in-app or via support immediately.

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to give you more prominent notice. Continuing to use KissyCam after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies to you.
